I heard the whoosh in my ears. One of my foursome just hit the ball about 300 yards from the tee. I on the other hand saw my ball roll up about 200 yards away. It is hard playing a scramble when your partner out hits you every single time off the tee and needs an 8 iron where you are hitting a 4 iron. Now I can’t imagine that I would ever get the distance that he is seeing, simply because I stand 5 feet tall and he is about 6 foot 3 inches. However I knew that something had to be done and could be done to add distance to my swing. A trip to the local golf shop and with a new driver, I just added 20 plus yards off the tee. I was also pointed to a product called the Momentus Speed Whoosh. Supposedly this device which weighs about the same as the new driver that I am hitting will add another 7-10 miles per hour to my swing. If this is true, I should see another 20 to 25 yards off the tee. Can’t wait to see my brother in laws face next time we play.

The second reason as to why we are seeing an upsurge in the number of people doing Yoga for weight loss is something to do with the fact that recent scientific studies have tended to support the efficacy of Yoga as a weight loss aid.

I used to think that getting the time in each day on the track, or at the gym was all I needed to work my way to a beautiful and healthy body. But I quickly realized that I would need a lot of help, because I hit a plateau and was unable to change anything about it by myself. I was really frustrated, and for awhile I nearly gave up on getting in shape at all. But then I found out that with a little heart rate monitor training I could make the most out of my exercise routine, without having to add lots of hours to it each day. Now I am working smarter, not longer, and am able to push myself into the target range that I have set for myself. The plateau is far behind me, and I am racing forward towards my goals. I am ready for success!

My son and I went hunting one weekend and planned every detail for our hunting trip. We brought along our telescopic rifle together with our shotgun as weapons to use for hunting. We thought we brought along everything until I had a feeling that we must have forgotten something. I checked my backpack and was surprised that we failed to bring with us the shotshell-reloading-supplies. Rather than go back to get these supplies, we just decided to proceed and hopefully we can find a store that sells supplies for my shotgun. We travelled for another hour and luckily there was a gun shop nearby. We asked the store clerk for shotshell-reloading-supplies and we were glad that we got a positive response from the clerk. I bought supplies that was just enough for the trip especially that the prices of these supplies in the store was very much expensive than the store where I buy it.

I was driving on my home from work this afternoon, and right before I got to my exit on the highway, I saw a sign that said, “used golf carts cheap-2 miles!” At first, I thought the sign and the notion of a used golf cart business were really out of place on the highway; especially in this part of town. In the very next moment, I had an epiphany and I whipped the car around. I saw Sam riding on the trails in the back yard in an old golf-cart. Only, in my vision, the golf cart didn’t look old at all; he had fixed it up.
Then I imagined Sam’s father teaching him how to drive it, and how to make it run well. It three seconds I decided that our family needed a used golf cart to bring us together. It was the weirdest thing; I knew it was irrational, but I felt so validated in that moment. Now there’s a golf cart in the back yard, and I’m interested to see what Sam says when he gets home.

My son showed an interest in taking Karate. I was hesitant at first, because I thought of it as a violent sport that would encourage fighting, but after doing some research, I discovered that it was a great sport that could inspire confidence, build strength and stamina, enhanced balance and fitness, and taught respect for others. After learning all this I decided to allow my son to take Karate and we went out shopping for supplies. We needed light cotton attire that was loose and breathable to allow a wide range of movement. The standard Karate uniform is called a Gi, and consists of loose trousers and a wrap around shirt. We also looked at karate belts, which are used to tie the shirt in place. Karate belts are different colors to indicate the level of Karate mastered. Soon I had my son fitted out for his first Karate class. He seems to enjoy the sport and is doing very well.
